I'm looking for a front night sight only and some of the places I've seen advertise a usp/p7 sight for the front sight. Are they the same for the front?

The P7 has multiple different front sight heights...several more than the USP. I'm not sure if they are the same deminsions though.

HK Parts Banner Ad running at the top of this page advertises at least 3 heights for P7s (PSP - 5.7 mm; P7 - 6.6 mm; P7M8 - 7.4 mm) versus USPat 7.0 mm if that helps.

I guess I could always try it and return it if it doesn't fit. Figures I sold my usp a bit ago and now I could use it.

Different sights/dovetails. USP sights will not work on the P7's and vice versa.
