Just yesterday the piston on my old P7 started to rattle. I've noticed that somehow the spring that's supposed to be there is not.
I'll call H&K after they reopen Jan 15. and get a replacement spring and that other piece that goes with the spring, but in the meantime I would like to know what kind of risk would I be undertaking IF I take it to the range and shoot it like that - with a loose piston?
Before I do something stupid, I thought I better ask
I know it's a pain but I would just be patient. Even though it might work theres no sense risking damage to an expensive gun or yourself just because your itching to shoot it. I'd say wait for your parts.
