Hello everyone, been a member for a few months, drank the koolaid, now have a new P30, 45C and a older p7 on the way.Quick question if anyone can give any feedback, just stumbled on a P7M8,date 12/83, case hardened nickel? w/ two mags, externally seems in good condition, he is asking $1500 with some wiggle room. Any thoughts on a reasonable price, just looking for a shooter.

Well, if it matters to you, the nickle finish is not factory.

All factory nickle finished P7's were "KC" ('92) date code.

It's hard to zero in on a price based on the info you've provided, but $1500 should get you a gun that is unfired or close to it with the original box , paperwork, etc. It doesn't sound like this guy is offering anything close to that. You should be able to pick up a nice P7M8 shooter for $1200 +/-. I'd pass on this deal in a hurry and keep looking. YMMV.

Agreed, pass on this one. $1500 in a gun store should get you a mint gun with all the goodies, not a refinished shooter.

For $1500 you should get a gorgeous LNIB M8 with box, all accessories and at least 2 mags. He needs to come down at least $400. Keep looking, there are some great guns out there.
