P7M8 sometimes fails to return to normal safe. The inner lever gets "caught"
I own many P7 variants. I've got a K3, 3 or 4 M8's, a PSP, another 3 or 4 M13's. I perform all the detail work on them that needs doing - within my skill set. I have broken all of these down to their component pieces, and reassembled without issues. One one particular M8, it wil occasionally bind somehow. When you squeeze the cocking lever and then release it, the outer lever works as expected. The inner lever, however, will sometimes bind or catch on something - I think it is binding on the right side of the pistol, but can't be sure. I have detail stripped two M8s side by side and cannot see any difference between the parts from the pistol that works and the one that ocassionally fails.
So, quick question: Have you ever had a P7 that when you release the outer cocking lever, the innerr lever stays "retracted"? If so, what did you do to fix it?
I have done multiple detail strips (down to individual parts) and carefully reassembled the guns. This issue stays with this gun.
Any ideas? I'm willing too send it to Teufulhund if that is what it'll take to get this resolved.
TIA,
Jax
