Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere.

What are the key differences between these two pistols? Are both 8 + 1, SA?

I'm not real familiar with either weapon. Do the trade-in's come with manuals that include disassembly & maintenance instructions? Are spare parts hard to find?

I see the PSP trade-in's surfacing, but didn't know if/where one could obtain the M8.

Thanks in advance - T1

Key differences--the P7 has the heel mag release and the M8 has the thumb release----The M8 also has a heat shield under the gas chamber and a larger trigger guard for gloved hands.

They are both 8+1. I suppose you would consider them SA.

The trade-ins should come with manuals although they can be found elsewhere.

The M8s are out there but not as plentiful as the trade-in P7s.

I have both a P7 and a P7M8 and I personally like the standard P7 more FWIW!

I agree. I own the P7 PSP and I don't mind the heel release. I also like the looks of it better.

Ditto, and though many would dissaprove, I carry mine Mexican style, here
in Az, in summer. That is also why it has very little finish left on it. But it
is the safest, most reliable pistol I own that will shrug off the hottest 9mm
rds out there.
