Hello,
I’ve had my VP9 for 5+ years with no issues. The other day at the range, shooting Norma 115 grain, the firing pin and trigger were failing to reset. Sometimes all I had to do was hit the back of the slide. Other times I’d pull the slide back slightly and it would reset. I took out my VP9SK with the same ammo and there were no issues.
When I got home, took the slide off and was inspecting the firearm. At one point, I heard something fall out (pictures attached)
What is the piece? What could be the issue?

That's the thing that the trigger safety dingus bumps up against. Might need a trip to Transport Blvd.

Is this a part off of a VP9?

I was reassembling my VP9 after installing a new trigger and a seat spring. When I was tapping the locking block pin back into place I noticed this piece in my lap. I can’t find anything like it on the VP9 parts diagram. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks. ETA: see this thread for more info...
