I picked up the Coharie CA-94 in excellent condition over the weekend. Everything looks good on it. I'll take it to the range this week to see how it runs. Does anyone know if TB is still doing the bolt head upgrade?

I handled a HK94 sear gun waiting on papers in the local shop with the A2 stock and I was a bit surprised how light the CA-94 is in comparison. Both are feathers compared to my A2 equipped PTR-32 though.

Congrats! If this is your first roller lock, welcome to the family. Take your wallet and lock it up and throw away the key or you will be broke!

If you have any issues with the CA94, gather as much information as possible as well as pics. Hkpro can diagnose anything! Post up some picks when you can, they all look the same but we like gun porn!!

As for the TB bolt head swaps, I don't know anyone who has actually received one even though many of us had sent in a request. I think most of our emails go to TB's trash folder before they are opened. If your MIM head gives you issues, you can either pick up a new RIM head or a used HK bolt head for about $200. Both are solid options.

I had an oversized bolthead and sent it in to TB. I did get a replacement bolthead that's a little different in color (and it was right before the "bolt upgrade announcement" and wonder if this was one of the new MIM ones? It wouldnt fire when I installed it so the bolt gap is to big?? with the new bolt?

Welcome aboard. And remember, the number one rule here is to post pictures of any new guns you get. We must have pictures to look at, or it didn't happen.

Lurker here.....looking into used local CA94 that is for sale for a really good price. How does your run? Any issues?

I did build up a SBR'd BMP MP5K-PDW with the RCM bolt group and it runs great.

Stupid question: What is the H&K on the top? I see a precision trigger group.....HK 33 sniper clone?

I have no idea how it runs ..yet. I'm going to take it to the range hopefully tomorrow and go from there.

The top one is one of those HK33 SG1 kits that came in and built by Terry Dyer (I think). It's a solid piece of kit to say the least and it has the green box with the goodies from Germany. It's more of a collectable to I got the PTR32 to actually shoot.
