This is weird, I was changing our my grip when this piece just dropped out of the screw hole. Now my safety selector switch is loose and can switch to the full auto place. Anyone know what this pin is?

its your safety detent and there is a spring missing i believe.

good deal. goes without saying though to always be very careful when taking parts off a firearm. you got lucky this time. lol

for the record i just noticed this was posted in the HK customer service forum. i am in not way or shape affiliated with HK or any customer service for that matter. i was merely trying to help a member out.
