Today I received my HK MP-5 back from Ken at TPM Outfitters. When I first sent him my weapon, I was concerned because he was in Texas and I live in Pennsylvania. I had spoken with Ken a number of times on the phone and he knew a lot about the weapon. Some weapons that he worked on were shown on Gunbroker and he had great feedback. At that point I figured I would give him a try. The gun was in Texas for about 3 weeks, including shipping both ways. Ken remarked the gun, installed a paddle mag release, installed a 3 lug threaded barrel, refinished the gun and installed a new trigger pack on the weapon. When I opened the box today I was impressed! My gun looked FANTASTIC! All the work was done as promised and it looked brand new. TPM's prices were fair and the work was done in a timely professional manner. My hat goes off to Ken and I hope you folks give him a chance the next time you need work on your HK. This is my first post with you folks, so I hope it’s OK to give this company the shout out they deserve.

A few months ago, Ken from TPM Outfitters did a great job on an MP5-N for me. Well, two weeks ago I sent him an SP89 to re-work into an MP5K-N host gun. When the firearm came back it looked spectacular. Ken installed an Urbach threaded 3 lug barrel, paddle mag release, remarked MP5K-N, 0-1-F Navy Trigger Group (Semi) and refinished. Once again, Ken did a great job at a fair price. I've seen a number of HK guns in my time, and I think that Ken's work is on par with RDTS and Terry Dyer. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since he learned the trade under Murray Urbach. The next time my HK needs work, its back to Ken at TPM Outfitters in Texas. And I did not know Ken before I used him to work on my guns. I was just lucky enough to find a craftsman out there who takes pride in his work.
