I ordered my GI R green and PTRs web site is a little vague about which parts are surplus HK...
It comes with a "surplus" steel lower
From what I understand the FH, furniture and lower steel trigger housing are HK?

It doesn't really matter to me from a good functional rifle standpoint I've just noticed that it's advertised using surplus parts and was curious about the sources..

I'd contact them direction, or post the question on the PTR forum here. I think there is still one here. But if you're getting a new one, they'd have the best knowledge of what they are currently using. I suspect that these parts change occasionally and it's best to check with the maker.

The one I bought in 2012 Didn't have any 922r countable surplus other than the stock set. That's since been changed

Section 922(r) Parts Count Has a nice matrix which will help you see how much you can replace and stay legal.

With the change to 5/8"x24 threading on the barrel the FH is no longer an HK part.
