Maybe I shouldn't try to take it off...lol. I wanted to see if I could slip my SP89 handguard onto the pistol without the flash hider. I don't think it will, but was bored and thought I would try.I had a ****ens of a time removing my PTR heavy barrel FS so I could install a Vortex.. can only imagine struggling with the short version and no stock. I had to have my gal virtually sit on the stock in addition to my left hand, and I used a BIG wrench AND a cheater bar/tube
pretty sure that is a 94 style handguard not a 89 that fits it. you could put it on with a spacer or just use a wide forearm like from a 53 on it. don't put a vert grip on it unless it is nfa good.Maybe I shouldn't try to take it off...lol. Yeah, I was thinking I would try to see if the SP89 fit and then could add one of those extensions. Definitely not a K-grip.pretty sure that is a 94 style handguard not a 89 that fits it. you could put it on with a spacer or just use a wide forearm like from a 53 on it. don't put a vert grip on it unless it is nfa good.![]()
I would not even think about it for that reason.. but if you like getting frustrated... lolMaybe I shouldn't try to take it off...lol. I wanted to see if I could slip my SP89 handguard onto the pistol without the flash hider. I don't think it will, but was bored and thought I would try.
So your girl had to sit on the rifle AND your left hand?? I can see the fun in that but can't imagine how it helps remove the flash hider..LOLI had a ****ens of a time removing my PTR heavy barrel FS so I could install a Vortex.. can only imagine struggling with the short version and no stock.
