There can be several reason why a gun will not extract. The gun may need to be cleaned thoroughly. Some ammunition may not function properly. The magazines may not seat/feed properly causing the bolt carrier to stick. The extractor spring may need to be replaced.
Try cleaning the gun first, use factory mags, and good ammo.
How many rounds through this rifle? Bolt gap? Ammo being used? How clean/dry is it? First time out with mine, I didn't know the chamber needed to be dry and had a hell of a disappointing day full of FTE's.
If you can find the rod this screws into, this brush is indispensible for cleaning chamber flutes. Rather than push it in and rotate the brush, you push it in and retract it directly thus cleaning out the flutes. There is a steel or metal flange which prevents you from stuffing it too far into the chamber. It is a quality item.
