I have a EVO-9 suppressor with 3-lug adaptor.

I use this on my MP5 and MP5k; now for my question.

When used on the MP5 it is dead on accurate but when I use it on the MP5k-PDW the shots are to the far right. The weapon is sighted in and dead on accurate with out the suppressor.

Anyone have any ideas why there would be accuracy with one weapon and not the other?

There can be many variables regarding POI shift between weapons, even with the same mounting mechanisms.

In addition, the PDW and the MP5 are somewhat different when you compare things such as locking pieces, bolt carrier weights, spring tension and throw, etc. There can also be minor machining differences on the 3 lug adapter itself.

All these things can be "invisible" to the shooter, but when comparing two weapons with the same suppressor, can show up in dramatic fashion by a significant POI shift from one weapon and the other.

One of the reasons the Evo has the ability to "index" to compensate for this shift.
