Question Why my Mr556 has two different serial number

Can anybody tell me why my MR556 has a different serial number under the pistol grip ?. Was there a problem with the one that has the same serial number as my upper. Just a question? Guns works great.:29000:

Does HK mark the individual parts of the rifle with the serial number instead of just the receiver?
