I just got a UTL for my full size USP. I wasn't necessarily wanting to leave it on all the time after I get used to the added weight, however, I noticed that after taking it on and off a few times, it is making marks on the frame. Is there any way to avoid this or should I just leave it on or off and quit swapping it around. Thanks.

Your firearm will get marks with use. It is unavoidable. Continue using the firearm as you currently are and don't worry about the marks.

Look at it this way it only a tool and it's just adding to it's character.

It doesn't mar it as much if you release the latch then use your finger to pull the sprung section away from the rail then roll the utl towards the stationary teeth side.

Then again... It's a tool, use it. Little marks on the rail won't hinder its function.
