If its what I am assuming its a registered 89 or 94 rear half with a mag well grafted on. IIRC correctly there was one for sale on here about a year or two ago.

It was about a year ago and it too had been done by Terry Dyer. There was another one on Subguns a couple months or so ago for $40k or $41k but that one had been done
on a Fleming push pin MP5 and then converted to a MP5/40 by TPM Outfitters. It is now marked "sold". $50k for a similar weapon to one that sold a few month ago
for something approximating $40k seems like a pretty big jump. And you, are right, for $50k I would have tossed in the Red Dot.
