Is there any way that confirmed, solid members can volunteerto check out deals from sellers in their areas so as to eliminate scammers? I am LE in central, TX and can possibly assist in my neck of the woods.
a member calling himself Popspot PM’d me (1st clue) about a 18 LP he had. He would not give me his phone number as he was a busy ER nurse (2nd clue). The guy sent good pics of an 18 LP in hand (photoshop). He had low activity on the site (15 posts, 3rd clue). When I asked him where he lived he said Lomita, CA and as luck would have it, a relation of mine is in Anaheim Hills down the highway. We set up a FTF and Popspot was a no show.
