Bill Springfield says he can improve the SL8 trigger to some degree, at least using replacement metal parts. TN was selling a replacement metal sear and trigger a while back and I picked them up. I'm sending my FCG to Bill one of these days. Otherwise I don't think there's much you can do.
The hammer spring can be tweaked some to lower the pull weight by about a 1.5 lbs or so. Otherwise with stock plastic parts, only minimal tweaking can be performed. Metal replacements parts would open up the field up for more improvement.
thanks for the help. i guess the simple thing will be to just adjust the spring a bit lighter.
