Well, AKs are carried during such demos only because they can fire with blank ammo. In Polish police we don't have blank ammo for MP5s... (don't know why...). But we have plenty of blank AK's ammo, so when during demo there is need for some shooting, AKs are used /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif In real operations AKs are used very rarely, only when heavy firepower is needed.

What was the problem with the handguards and the flashhider? At the bottom
of this page there is a BT flash hider on a MP5 with the off-set handguard. I'd imagine if it's a BT flash hider, there wouldn't be a problem since there are no slots on the bottom of flashhider.

Just curious what the issue was.
