those are both good choices, they are however surplus stocks(may be refinished and rebuilt) and not the same as say what a 1980's 91 A3 would have come with, really just the finish is different.

but compared to the price for a new A3 from HK......those run $400-500 the $200 or less surplus stocks are great buys and unless a collector type then no need to get the spendy new ones.

I am looking for a surplus variant, I don't need to spend the big bucks for one. I didn't see any on the CDNN site. Just as long as it is German.

Sent you an email I do have a surplus German made G3 a3 stock for sale, new style.

Download their catalog and look on page 122. They have both the new and old style stocks, $149 and $199 respectively. They claim ¨Original German"... ;)
