I finally had the opportunity to see and handle an SP5 at Maine Military Supply in Bangor, Maine. Now I am smitten...looks like I will be dropping $2399 VERY soon.

MMS is a great shop and range...worth checking out

Bangor is about 2.5 hours north of me but the next time I am up there I will have to check that place out. Thanks for the heads up!
