Those of you that have them, what ammo do you find cycles them reliably?

Magtech has worked well in mine, but lighter stuff (WWB, UMC) has given me a fairly high stoppage rate.

Curious if anyone's tried 115 Aguila.

SP5K Rules the Day

Broke mine in on 500 German MEN 124gr FMJs.
Followed by 500 Winchester 124gr NATO FMJs.
Then 200 Federal HST standard pressure 147 gr JHPs as a function check (my SD round).
It's a laser with anything 147 gr.
So I run quality brass cased 147 FMJs for practice.

IMHO the SP5K isn't really a handgun, but a semi-auto SMG.
Most start out with full power 124/147 gr ammo.
After X rounds you may be able to run powder puff 115 gr range fodder.
I run full power heavier stuff and have ZERO issues.
And It's good to practice with the same weight / pressure ammo you'll use for real

I've got some 147gr that I'll try next trip out. Wasn't sure if it would cycle it, as it's only pushing 1000 fps. I usually reserve it for my suppressed USP9SD.

147 gr Remington FMJ & 147 gr Speer Lawman TMJ interchangeably for practice ammo.
147 gr Winchester Ranger T for serious social work.
Pretty much shoots within an inch of each other at 25 yds.
POI shift suppressed is also within an inch with an Octane 45 can.

I've only fed both of mine German MEN 124gr NATO. Seems appropriate, Mary a hiccup.

cheapest brass i could buy . 1st range trip i shot 240rds new out of the box with 115 AE . 2nd trip, cleaned and slick down with castrol syn. tranny and marvel oil, shot other 240rds with 115 S&B . this weapon is reliable, accurate and has lived up to the iconic MP5 standards . it has exceeded my expectations . 0 issues !

next trip is the sp5k vs the mke z-5rs . 500rds of 147 blazer brass .

Berrys plated 147s have run like a top for me, and one ragged hole accurate at 15yds, 6" circle. On Auto, mag dump. I have no reason to load anything lighter based on this experience.
