i have a fullsize usp 40 with regular DA/SA. if i get the LEM trigger is that like a glock's trigger? do i still use the manual safety/decock lever or does that get removed?

You need to try one. It is not like a Glock trigger, I personally like it better. When you do the conversion you can leave the safety on or take it off. See the tacked post at the top of this forum about the conversions, both with and without the safety being left on. USP and USPC conversions are done the same way. If you leave the safety decock on when you do the conversion the safety will work but the decock will not.
