Yeah, I'm on fence about doing this to my SP5K as well. I picked up a Tac-latch, but its still sitting in the package... I just feel like I'll only be happy with the real paddle.You should get your SP5K in Mike's hands at Michaels Machines. His paintless paddle install is exactly that and requires no drilling, no welding, and is entirely touch free to your new gun. I was impressed upon seeing how it's done, and it looks absolutely factory. Worth the money for install and bridges the gap from SP5K to MP5K.
