I have had a tan mark 23 for over 5 years I bought it know it's was rarer than black mark 23. Does anyone the real story on how many got imported and how long they made them.

Any idea what serial number range where these made? I don't see anything other than serial to figure out what number of 500 you have

23-010592 (black)--- 23-010593 through 23-011116 (tan)--- 23-011117 (black)!!! :biggrin:
That is actually 524--- this is either the "real" number, or 24 were not imported. :wink:

So @AGG does that mean all the ones made (excluding the mystery 24) were imported into the US or do those numbers only represent the 500 for the US market and there are another say 1000 made for the Euro and Asian market? Just curious if the US market is the only consumer of tan MK23s. Thanks as always for your great knowledge!

I presume that this was a U.S. market promotion, as I have never seen any outside of the U.S., and I have @ 70 in the database--- all are in the U.S.!!! :biggrin:
Also, based on the data, it appears that the U.S. market has the lion's share of Mark 23's generally, though it appears that there were no U.S. imports for 2011--- only @ 350 number discrepancy between 2010 and 2012. :wink:
