Hey Guys. Looking for holster advice. I have a P2000sk in 9mm that I'm trying to find a good summer IWB holster for. I have a Black Hills Leather IWB holster that I like fine, but it is quite a bit more bulky that I would like--especially for summer wear.

Here are my ideal criteria:
(A) Preferably Kydex (for the sake of thinness, primarily)
(B) IWB
(C) Thin profile--I'm 5'11'' 165 lbs. so I have a thin frame that makes hiding a large pistol hard enough without having a bulky holster adding to the problem
(D) Able to put on or take off holster without having to take off my belt (loops with snaps are preferable over clips, but either is better than a fixed loop).
(E) Delivery time isn't make-or-break, but if I ordered this week, I'd like to have it before the start of winter.

Let me know of any suggestions you have. Mexican carry is working for now, but I'd prefer a holster for the sake of retention and safety.

Take a look at the offerings from Fist. They make many models in Ultra Thin Kydex. Here is one that sounds like what you are looking for:

I suggest you take a look at the offset belt clip IWB model from Lobo Gun Leather, in horsehide. I have one for my LCR (.38 snub-nosed revolver) and it's very thin and yet still pretty rigid.

I would suggest either a Blade-Tech or a Crossbreed. I have a a Fist Leather IWB and it's great, but I use it for winter carry mostly.

I got the AIWB from Garret. It works for me. Kydex with a leather lining.

How long did you wait to receive your holster from Garret, if I may ask? It looks like a very nice set-up, and the leather-lining is a unique feature. Is it still thin, despite the leather lining?

The Comp-Tac Infidel also looks like a good choice, although it doesn't have any leather, it does seem to meet all my criteria, and delivery time seems to be very quick as well.

Can't say in general, but mine took 2 weeks to ship. It really is a thin holster, and the leather lining is the feature which sold me on it. tim

Check out Old Faithful Holsters.com I am wearing one right now with a USPc .45 in it. Since I got mine, I carry the USPc .45 as my summer gun and it is concealed under a tucked in polo shirt with complete comfort. Delivery time is fast too.
