So I started a new thread a couple days ago announcing that I ordered an HK45. I can wait for this thing to come. The waiting game sucks.

Anyway I gave HK-USA a call and talked to CS. The gentleman told me that they would be receiving a new shipment sometime next month. I am wondering about that claim because I'm not sure of the American/German parts content of the HK45. I've heard 100% made in USA and I've heard frame only made in USA. And just because HKUSA gets a shipment that doesn't mean whole country is going to get resupplied...

When I placed the order at my LGS I was told "I can't imagine the wait being more than a couple months".

If anyone can give me a SMALL bearing on how long I may have to wait knowing that HKUSA is getting more in sometime next month it would be appreciated...

One thing you should always do before ordering from HK is check the forum here by posting a WTB add and then if this does not work check gun broker. Ordering from HK you might as well ask a crystal ball when your item will arrive. This is not HK USA's fault. They only give info out as they receive it from Germany etc. No one can control manufacturing or shipping and customs. Just my 2 cents from my years of collecting and "Ordering".

I use buds gun shop for all my HK stuff. They usually have a good selection in stock and some of the lowest prices. Ordering online saves me from paying sales tax which is usually less than an FFL transfer anyways. Most of the time I use the 90 day layaway some I don't have to pay for the whole thing up front. I bought my Mark 23, USPSD, Umarex MP5-22, and USC from them.

I ordered a P30 in January from my LGS and was told no more than 6 to 8 weeks. I gave up on Wednesday after "no new info, no shipment dat still" and I found one through this forum in stock ready to ship. My LGS is going to keep the order open and just put it in the case when it comes in I am interested to see when it actually gets there. You could get lucky or be waiting until July:41: I was not patient and spent WAY too much money on other guns waiting for a shipment.

I should've been a little more clear. I did not order it directly from HK. I ordered it from my LGS who says his distributor is currently out of stock. So I am wondering how long its going to take HKUSA to resupply distributors

I like to support all my local businesses as much as possible. In this case, though, I would find what I wanted online somewhere (this forum, CDNN, gunbroker, gunsamerica, etc.) and support my LGS by paying him/her the transfer fees.

If your ordering(a item not in stock) from a real HK dealer, HK will send a conformation with a date the gun is excepted to ship to the dealer, I have found it to be fairly accurate in the past, seems more than often they showed up sooner.............but not always

I've been waiting a few month's for a P30s 9mm/with night sight's..so i have no idea what's going on with HK...
