Ok, I bought an early brace that didn't fold.
And argued mightily that I had no use for a folding one.
But I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong.
After much thought I went ahead and got the new folding version.
And I must say I like it

If you're not interested in a product? Fine.
But insulting other members firearms or choices with them is just plain rude.

SP5K - Side Folding Brace (Barth Approved)

Oh Man... I need one! Hows the build/fit quality?
I've got both SB Tactical braces as you know.
The first one can rotate on the buffer tube.
it's not perfect, but it works.

The folding one?
1) B&T styling and design
2) Integrated B&T brace adapter installed
3) Made from high-quality, elasto-polymer, the side folding brace is manufactured to HK/B&T tolerances

This thing is on a different level of fit, build and function.
The folding adapter is made by B&T (B&T is an HK-OEM manufacturer).
It's that good.

I'm going to pick this folding brace up and use it as a place holder, stamps do take a long while till approval. I also like the advantages of a pistol for concealment and vehicle travel at times.:74:

I am wrong all the time, it's called learning!

Same boat though, have the fixed brace and will get this folder mainly for cheek rest. But not gonna lie, it looks fantastic.

That said, if the KAK adapter was in stock I would have run down that path using a Hera SFU and Shockwave. This SB Tactical is still the better setup though.
