This might be the wrong place to ask...but it is for sale on HKParts.net 🤷‍♂️

What is the proper way to use this brush?

Is it supposed to be used like a standard bore brush that goes all the way through the barrel? I am worried that it will damage the bore since it has stainless steel bristles.

no, it not designed to go through the bore, it's a chamber brush used just for cleaning the chamber.......that chamber brush is patterned after the M16 chamber brush that is used to both clean the chamber and the lugs

the proper way you use it, is to do a "In-and-out" the SS bristle in the chamber where the flutes are to get rid of the carbon

The brush was designed to clean the chamber and the barrel. It only requires one pass but multiple passes will not harm the barrel. Make sure you always pass the brush from the chamber to the muzzle, in the natural direction of the bullet.
