Mounted a 42mm RED DOT SCOPE on USC/UMP

Rail is flush with receiver

You can use rear sight and see the front sight THRU the RED DOT SCOPE

Front sight takes up some of your view

LOOKS like it might work great

Cant go to the range for a while will have to wait to see what I don’t know

USC sight

I use a Holosight on a top rail for close work with both eyes open. In addition, I have mounted a small laser on the side rail to sight at 25yds. That works out to 50 yds as well, beyond which, it is tough to see. A new green laser may be much better for this.....Accuracy out to 100 yds is mediocre, but at 25 and 50 it is great.....that tells me the sights are the critical factor. A .45 cannot be "variably" accurate. The other side rail has a 120 lumen light with a pistol grip forend and switch.
I will post some photos once I get to my studio with the gun.
