My hammer won't go into single action mode it just drops evey time i pull it back or rack the slide. The hammer is loose also is there anything i can do so i don't have to send it in

Are you sure that it is a DA/SA and not an LEM trigger? Sure sounds like an LEM they way you describe what happens. My LEM hammer has a tiny bit of side to side play. Not much though. Maybe a millimeter each way.
Post a pic of the back end of the gun(if you can). If it has a bobbed hammer it more than likely is an LEM trigger. If it has the spur on it then I don't know.

its not a LEM, just started happining on saturday. had the gun since 2005

What's the chance that the hammer spring or hammer strut is broken? Have you tried removing the hammer spring/strut to verify that they're still in good shape?
