Hello all,

I have a BA date code USP Compact that originally came with the standard LEM trigger. I installed the light TRS and FPBS, which I believe constitutes the Light LEM trigger. Or should I have swapped the hammer spring to 214300 as well? I'd like to upgrade to the Light LEM/ Match Hybrid. If I understand this correctly, the only parts I need to add are

Match Hammer Spring - 215694
Match Sear Spring (nickel) - 215691.

Is that correct?

Also, I think I'll need to remove the sear, detent plate, etc. to remove the stock sear spring. Is that correct?

Thanks,
Brad

The nickel sear springs never hurts. As far as your hammer spring question, this is the best source for that answer. http://www.hkpro.com/forum/hk-refer...g-reference-chart-different-lem-variants.html
Match Hybrid is mainly the drilled trigger with over-travel screw which for a compact requires the drilling of the stock trigger.
The hammer spring I cannot comment on but as a owner of a light LEM compact I can tell you that you already have it about as good as it will ever be.
This match-hybrid tutorial by TooSixy might have your answer. It is date code relevant.

i picked up a used AA dated USP tac. with soft gray case and all the accessories . the weapon had the old style hammer, catch and flat spring . ordered all new parts including the nickel flat spring . followed TooSixy's Match Trigger Kit Installation tutorial on the parts needed to be replaced (USP tac. comes with the match grade trigger) and i was back in business . also replaced the trigger bar detent and spring . the match trigger and reliability makes the 45 tac. a superior weapon . i would love to have the match trigger on my USPc 45, but its my EDC and don't think modifying my CCW is a good idea . thanks TooSixy for all your help .

Hey guys, quick update for you all...

In addition to the Light LEM TRS and FPBS, I did go ahead and install the Match hammer spring and nickel plated sear. My trigger pull is now 5 lbs 2 oz. It was originally 8.5 lbs, so this was definitely a worthwhile upgrade. The trigger feels GREAT dry firing. I'm really eager to take it to the range and see if my groups shrink. Thanks for all the great advice folks!

I gotta say, I'm in love with the new trigger. She ran like a champ and my groups shrunk by just about half. I have no qualms at all carrying it. 5.2 lbs is not even remotely a hair trigger.
