I have a usp compact .40. When I swap out the floor plate for a flat one the bottom of the mag doesn't fit flush with the bottom of the grip. These are the 12 rd mags. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes. For some reason, the USPc 9 and .40 flat floorplates do not fit flush with the bottom of the grip, as do the P2000, USPc .45, HK45C, et. al.

Mine is the same way. about 1/8" gap. Works perfectly though.

You only get a gap if you use the floorplate intended for the USPc/P2000 9mm magazine.

The proper USPc .40 floorplate leaves no gap, but extends an eighth of an inch or so below the bottom of the grip frame. I believe this is what the OP was referring to.

If it wasn't such a PITA to post photos here (third-party host, etc.), I'd show you. But the last time I did that, I got flooded with spam.
