Looking for some recommendations on sights for a compact 40. Would like to grab some triji HDs or something like a single front and rear tritium bead (straight 8?)

Ideal sight setup for me would be a orange/yellow/red front (w/ tritium) and blacked out rear tritium single dot (preferable with ledge).

Not interested in fiber optics as I am hard on guns that I carry.

Just looking for some suggestions as reading through many posts, I come across sights I was never aware of.

Stay safe.

Thanks.

I love a blacked out rear, orange dot front on everything I own save for my HKs. For some odd reason I never moved on from the factory meps that come standard on the night site equipped pistols. They just work and best of all are low profile and wont snag.

My Trij HDs and Night Fission sights are sharp AF and hang on everything. Love the sight picture though. My 2 cents...OMMV. Let us know what you decide. :)

Thanks for the responses. Was hoping someone had come across some 2 dot sights with an orange front, haven't come across any myself for the uspc. Looks like I'll be going with 3 dots right now - most likely mepros as I haven't found a source for the triji hds.

Take care.

Factory Mepros on my USP45 and USP9 are pretty great, but haven't shot much else to compare. I will be using an orange front/green rear setup on my USPc when I upgrade. Recently shot a friend's Glock with that setup and I found the initial draw and follow up shots to be much better than I have done with my all green-sighted Glock.

Mepros are pretty solid.

I went a simple straight forward approach for my USP Compact 9mm, standard Trijicon Green (I hear the HD has some sharp edges that can cut you)

Meprolight continue to be my favorite, recently added them to a new USP 45, and they are crazy bright, with larger dots than Trijicon
