Hope this isn't a stupid question. Can a V1 USP 40 be changed to a V2 (left hand). If so, how hard is it to make the switch. I'm a lefty, and my local HK dealer says their hard to get and wants me to buy his V1 he has in stock.
They convert relatively easy to any of the variants or even to the LEM constant trigger system from what I understand. That's why I'm a fan of HK, if I want to change it for example to be DAO, it's still my weapon and I don't have to buy a whole new gun. They're making the newer released weapons with a slide release lever on the passenger side for ya'll inclined to shoot with the other hand, this makes the pistol truly user friendly to both persuasions.
