I want to order a Dawson FO front sight for my ordered USP Expert, anyone here willing to measure height for me? It looks rater tall.

It should be 8.9mm.

I had them make a front sight specifically for an Expert. I believe it is the .280 by .100 fiber optic, part # 021194. I'll measure mine when I get home to verify.

I think he is correct. I ordered this sight to try on my 45 Tactical and it is a little short. I suspect it is intended for the Expert/Elites. If you are interested in a new one at used pricing, PM me. I am having them make me a custom one a little taller.

8.9mm = .350 so will the .280 work?

Dawson measures their sights from the top of the blade to the top of the slide, HK measure top of blade to bottom of dovetail.
