Hey, guys. First post here. I apologize if this has already been discussed. I've been looking everywhere here and couldn't find anything pertaining to this.

So, the goal here is to get some high quality fiber optic sights. I want a blacked out rear and a red fiber optic front. I know Dawson Precision makes some, but I'm trying to currently find the Novak sights they used to make for the USP. The three dot sights I'm using just don't cut it anymore.

If anybody can help me find these, it would be much appreciated. Cheers

Funny, that's the pic of my USP 9 Combat Competition (bought as Custom Combat).

I have not checked Brownells in a while, but the last time I checked, they had the front sight and the fiber optic rod replacement. But I remember they were out of the rear. I don't know if they still have them. These Novak have been out of stock on HKParts.net site for a long, lone time.

An advantage of Dawson, is you can get a shorter fiber front, allowing you to crank that adjustable rear down.

Ha, small world. That's funny. Yeah, that's a bummer. I'm thinking maybe Novak stopped making these, or they're uncatalogued. Either way, I'm still motivated to find them.

Barth, I might go ahead and call HK customer service next time they're open and see if I can buy a set. Anybody have issues with the fibers breaking at all? What's the hold on the sights? Cover or just the top of the blade or what?

I already called and spoke to them twice in the last couple of months about this. No luck.

Went with Meprolight Adjustable rear sights with the Novak red fiber optic front.
So, being adjustable, I dialed them in just the way I like - Bullseye Punching :biggrin:

Crikey -- that kinda sucks. I'll still give them a call and report back here in case I get lucky for us.

I might have to resort to using an adjustable rear, even though I would like to avoid it as much as possible. It seems like the HK guns in general, especially the USP seem to be lacking of sight options as opposed to lots of other pistols nowadays, like CZs, Glock, S&W, Sig, etc.
