USP Magazine Floor Plates, Compatability?

Quick question. Do the standard floor plates for USP 9/40 magazines fit on the jet funnel 18 round magazines? I'm thinking of getting a few 18 round jet funnel magazines for carry reloads and just letting the magazine hang out of the bottom of the pistol. For reload sake, I do not need the oddly shaped floor plate though.

Cheers

Yes, on both JF mags.

@TooSixy Sweet, I appreciate it. What's the difference between the clear white-esque color and the opaque black magazines other than color? Cheers.
The clear white is a translucent polymer that flexes a little, and HK doesn't encourage using them for duty use since they could potentially bulge when loaded and cause issues. The black one is steel with plastic overmold and is basically indestructible as far as magazines go. It's by far the toughest magazine I've ever had/seen for any firearm, let alone pistols.

@dragnet Do they make any of the weaker ones in black? Here are some well priced 18 rounders, but they mention nothing about the steel liners inside the polymer overmold.

39 to 42 bucks a piece before shipping isn't bad! Part number for those is: 215124S

Part number for the steel and black ones on HK's page is: 234656S

Huge price difference though, 62.30 before shipping.
I don't know, haven't seen those mentioned anywhere. I picked up mine off the HK webstore when they had a buy two get one free deal and they finally arrived a few weeks ago after some issues with the shipping. At $62 they're still cheaper than any other store I've seen out there, especially factoring shipping.

I don't know if any magazine is worth $62 but for what it's worth they're incredible. If the price is too much and if the return policy is good, you could maybe pick up a cheaper one to see if it works for you. The original translucent polymer ones are plenty fine too, people have used them for a long time and they work. I just feel like if you're buying HK you've probably resigned yourself to expensive overpriced stuff and if you're buying magazines, may as well get the best there is.

I'll go ahead and get a few of those 40 dollar ones as they're genuine HK magazines. Whether or not they're made like the translucent ones or like the black ones, they'll work great regardless from what I hear. I'll post back here after I find out what they are. Cheers
215124S is the translucent 18-rd mag. 234656S is the newer black steel mag, hence the huge price difference.

If you think $62 is expensive, guess how much we all paid for those black mags when they first became available?
