not selling with the match weight? thats like selling a mk23 with a normal, unthreaded barrel.

I disagree, it can be purchased by the buyer if he chooses. I could never fathome why those bricks ended up being wanted so badly and when they came out people couldnt sell them fast enough, and now everyone wants them? I'm keeping the match weight for sentomental reasons, if the buyer doesn't want the firearm because of it then it will sit in my safe until I pass. Someone will buy it though I gurantee it.

Hmmmmmm, the whole reason they are so pricey is kind of because of that big blocky weight. I'm not so sure that you will get anywhere near your asking price without it. I'd say just go ahead and keep the while gun for sentimental reasons.

I think it is worse... One, you don't get the original weight that came with the gun. Two, now you have a funky gun that is a cross between a Tactical, and an Elite... but without the threads, and without the extra length of the slide... You will just have a weird ass gun. You could purchase all of the parts to make that gun from Jarvis and Hkpro for a lot less than the gun listed. Since you will most likely only be albe to buy one of those cheap aluminum knock off's that come up every now and then or a real barrel weight that is probably beat to hell, I think you're better going off just building one and putting a fake weight on it. It will be a hell of a lot cheaper anyway and get you the same thing.

Thats what I was thinking. Its a tactical with an extended non thread barrel instead of just the threaded barrel. besides, anyone know where to get the match weights anyway?

I have to disagree, if a true HK fan wants a 100% authentic hk match pistol waiting on a match weight to pop up is easy to do. And once they do get the weight the pistol is a gold mine. A replica will never me a true match gun just a phony usp with hop ups, people buy the match because of the history and true authenticity. Regardless I have 3 three buyers lined up, may or may not be back to check this thread you guys have a good week and everyone be safe take care.

Guess buyers fell thru, as he relisted again on FGT just now. To me, a gun, original, complete with box and such is worth more than one thats missing a component. Especially a major component.
Also cant figure out why, one would keep the weight off the gun for sentimental value and not keep the whole gun. Doesnt make sense to me.
To sell this "Match" pistol without the one item that really defines it, is senseless.

It is your gun and yours to do whatever you want with, but a match without the MATCH weight is not a complete MATCH USP. ""TROLL like comments" ?
