USP Match standard or tactical recoil spring assembly

651 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Oakengineer
I assembled my stainless USPf into the Match configuration for some weekend fun. Question: do factory Match guns have the standard recoil spring assembly or the one from the Tactical and Expert guns? I figure it should work either way, but I want it to be as authentic as possible.

no help ! the H&K gods and elders must be on leave, or maybe TOOSIXY is actually sleeping .
I'd be interested in this as well. One of the guys will chime in at some point.
You're just cycling the slide, so Standard USP RSA should be the correct one.

Although that seems logical to me, why does the Expert have the Tactical RSA?
IIRC the tactical RSA only really matters if you are using it supressed as it changes the angle as it tilts while cycling.
otherwise just use standard. maybe the expert and elite use it due to the extra slide weight??

More slide mass on Expert vs Match/Standard USP
