Hey, guys. I understand a lot of us are looking for the blacked out rears and the fiber optic front sights that were on the USP Custom Combat / Combat Competition. Novak says we need 1000 sets for it to be worth their time. Granted, this is a stretch, but how many people here would be interested?

I'm thinking if we can get some other retailers in, like Numrich, HKParts, Brownell's on board, we might have a chance.

What I want to see them bring back to production are these raised sights for the USP45CT. I called them a while back to see if they would re-start the production and the answer that I got at that time was, "Nope."

I wonder where they do their production at. I could drive to their shop in about 20 minutes. I almost bought a like new HK91 off of them at a gunshow for $1400 about 12 years ago but they had it sold in the time it took me to go get money and come back.

Right? LOL. I'm going to ask them what the pricing is at for 1000. Maybe if they're really cheap at 1000, they'd be willing to do something that cost more per unit at 250 or something more reasonable.

A 1000 sets? That was just a kind way of saying go jump off a cliff. I bet they don't do any runs of sights greater than a 200-500 at a time.

Just thinking. If they are only willing to do 1,000 set, do they all have to be the same? Maybe adding another line to the mix, say HK45/P30/VP9.

These are ones I am looking for as well Pete........Will these also work on the Full size USP45 Tactical and the 45ct? I would be in on a group buy on these especially if you were the one heading it up......

Just got off the phone with Novak. Here is the deal, they will only sell 1000 sets of *one* particular kind of sight. The order needs to be paid in full prior to manufacturing. When I asked about pricing, they said the pricing would be distributor level pricing.

For the USP Custom Combat / Combat Competition sights, the pricing is as follows:

USP Novak blacked-out rear fixed sight: 20.97 per unit
USP Novak fiber optic front, red fiber installed: 25.17 per unit
USP Novak complete set: 46.14 per front and rear set

At those prices, I'm in for five sets. It's a long shot, but everybody else who is interested, please say how many sets you'd be guaranteeing to buy. We can always try to get HKParts and some other distributors on board to buy a decent number of sets.

These are the same sights that go on the Custom Combat models as well, just saying. They are not limited to the Combat Competition models.

$46.14 is about 1/2 of what I paid to HKParts.net a few yrs ago.

These are ones I am looking for as well Pete........Will these also work on the Full size USP45 Tactical and the 45ct? I would be in on a group buy on these especially if you were the one heading it up......

I am not sure if they would fit the full-size but I have seen the full-size adjustable raised sights on a compact before so I guess they might work. I was going to do another group buy last year for these USP45CT sights but when they told me that they would not make them anymore, I went back to the drawing board and tried to find some other sources. Too bad, no one else has them besides EuroOptic, who is selling the rear sight alone for $225. Ouch!
