Like some of you here, I prefer DA/SA with manual safty for my USP. I currently have a USPc in V1 setting and I grip the pistol just fine (thumb forward), but honestly, I would be lying to myself if it didn't feel better in my left hand... anyone feel the same?

Uh no... That darn lever is like a little security blanket for me. My thumb just doesn't feel right otherwise. :)

Unless you count the P7, which is so organic that it feels like it's growing out of my hand.

Seriously, though, I love the V1 USPc .45. Maybe I'll have to do more left-handed shooting and see what you mean...

I love the manual safety and the DA/SA combo...I can't legally carry outside, but when I do carry inside of my home, I carry locked and double action. I know some people feel that it is overly safe...Some carry DA, no safety or cocked and locked. But, for me it would be easy to draw my pistol and take the safety off in 1 fluid motion, and give the trigger a little extra squeeze if needs be.
