Anyone here own an airsoft version of the USPs? I'm thinking of picking one up for some plinking and holstering/drawing for quick practice at home.

If so, what are your opinions of the replicas that you own?!

Don't bother with the spring or electric ones. Too light, no recoil. Get a KSC/KWA gas blowback one with metal slide. Then, get a propane adapter and use the little Coleman propane bottles on the cheap. Can be useful as there is more recoil than a .22 IMO or at least the .22 I have........ make sure to stay on your front sight and don't start cheating to watch the BB.

I have heard talk about using the airsoft replaca. It's an O.K. idea, not really for me though. I've never had a problem making sure the weapon was unloaded & using the real thing. You just have to keep all safety concerns in mind & practice away. It's not something where you leave your mind drift off & on a whim try another 'dry-fire' after you reloaded your gun. I guess some things that work for one guy may be problematic to the next.
