It's been refinished, most likely with Robar NP3 or something like that. The seller is a dope.
Yes the "ct " standing for counter terrorist is a dead give away that the seller is fishy.

Actually, I recall HK using that same phrasing when they were marketing the USP45CT when it was still made. I always thought it sounded like HK was a little bit desperate to make it sound extra tacticool.
LOL! The seller of that CT is a complete idiot! No, there was not a SS USP CT made that I'm aware of and it's true that pistol will not be found on HK's site. I love the SS USP's but that doesn't appeal to me at all.
Also, the slide release would not be "stainless"!!!

^^ And neither would the barrel!
It is amazing the extremes people will go to screw other people. That is what is great about this site. People are honest and have a lot of knowledge about HK firearms. I saw on Gunbroker a while back a p7m8 that was the supposedly nickel finish and the seller even had the take down button in black, how HK had done them for the nickel guns produced in 1993. This gun he was selling was from 1984. Again, from what I have read only 1993 KC date codes were nickel, not way back in the early 1980's. I may be mistaken, but it seemed fishy to me and was gone next time I looked.

It might, if the finish was stripped!!!

I believe the correct definition of "CT" is complete tool.

Pretty much got that right. The USP in the link has been Hard Chromed.

Sad an FFL can't tell difference between Hard Chrome & Stainless Steel ... what a maroon

No threaded barells. The end of the Match is not threaded either.
Disclosure: in a post a while back I created a HKUSPCT SS, but it was identified as such. It was nice to look at, but I put everything back to the way it was, and of course, I would never sell it.
