Thought I would make a comment about an ammo issue I had recently with my well broken in USP40c. Bought it new a couple of years ago and have run a couple of thousand rounds of various brands of ball and hollow point through it. Up until a couple of weeks ago I had never used Sellier and Bellot. Went out to Front Sight for a 4 day defensive handgun course and bought 500 rounds of Sellier and Bellot to use for the class. Unexpectedly, I experienced at least 15 failure to feed malfunctions with the 500 rounds. Naturally I was really concerned that my "baby" was letting me down, so after the second day of class I drove over to Wal-Mart and picked up 100 rounds of Winchester White Box.
The following day, the third day of class, I ran the entire 100 rounds through my 40c without a single malfunction. After the 100 WWB rounds, I went back to the S&B and had a repeat of the intermittent failure to feed. The cartridge appeared to get hung up on the feed ramp and could be cleared only by stripping the magazine by pulling it out and then racking the slide. The magazine would not eject on it's own because the cartridge was hung up between the mag lips and the feed ramp on the barrel.
This post is just a FYI if you are considering Sellier & Bellot, it might be a good idea to try it out before buying a larger quantity like I did.
