I recently noticed that my USP45 Tactical has a small slide-to-frame play, from side to side. However, my USP9 expert has no such play at all. Is that a sign of weak recoil spring on my USP45T? How is the slide-frame fit on your USP45T? I only put approximately 800 rounds through my USP45T and I did not see any malfunction so far. Thank you.

i have a old (AA) LEO trade-in that has the same conditions . i did upgrade the catch, sear and hammer, (thanks to @TooSixy tutorial) it still has a bit of play .

it has not affected the function of the weapon at all, reliability and accuracy have been 100% . one of my favorite sidearms to shoot and the trigger is 2nd to none !

if it ain't broke dont fix it, shoot it !

Thank you. I know a little frame-to-slide play does not affect functionality. I was wondering if I got a less-perfect one. After some research it looks like a bit of play is normal to USP45 models, while P30/P30L/HK45CT are much tighter. I guess HK has something changed on their newer products.
