Is this a factory configuration?
USP 9mm Compact, V3, Spurred Hammer, without lock-out device (with lanyard loop)?
Is there an H&K item number for this setup?

The lock-out device is not optional.
USP9C V3 - 709033 (M709033)
P2000 V3 9mm - 709203 (M709203)
All of our DA/SA models come with a spurred hammer.

Anyone have a picture of the USP9C?
Does the decocker lever have the S and F on it or is it plain black?

Thanks,
That's what mine looks like!

Minus the houge grip.

As I remember it, USP Compacts come with bobbed hammers, P2000 DA/SA comes with spurred hammer.
loupav thats what I'm talking about. I can't believe how many people are selling the HK's online and show the wrong picture. Makes it pretty damn confusing, especially since HK's own website doesn't show every model and option with item numbers.

orfeo,
Is that a V3 (DA/SA w/ Decocker, No manual safety)?

Also do the USPC's come with plastic mags or steel mags like the p2000?
I have seen pictures that show the plastic mags with the USPC's, but I have seen pics with the steel mags too.

Can you fit a standard USP mag in a compact?

That picture is of my V1 USP Compact 9mm (DA/SA with decocker and manual safety).

USP Compacts come with the same steel mags as the P2000.

No, you cannot use the fullsize USP mags in the compacts. :)
When you change to V3, you are supposed to change the lever to the one with no lettering. I am told that you can incur liability problems because the V1,2 lever has an "s" on it and your gun no longer has a safety. If some idiot (sorry, not pc) If some one picked up your gun and saw that it was on "S" and they pointed it at some one and the idiot (there I go again) pulled the trigger assuming the "safety" was going to stop the gun from firing, you can bet you are going to get sued and lose. It sucks because the lever without the letters is 3xs the cost of the one with them. Charge more not to put them on? I like the V3. Both of my carry USPs are V3.

Who gave you this advice? I ask because I would not take any advice from them.
