Are the front sights on the tactical supposed to be orange?
I just picked one up this weekend at a gun show and the fronts sight had orange paint that was chipping off so I removed the rest. Are there tall night sights available, if so from whom?

Is it a used gun? If so, someone probably dabbed a little sight paint on there. It wont hurt the gun, I did the same thing with my first tac, as the factory sites are crap, when shooting at an all black target in low light conditions. Now I bought some nitesiters, they are nothing more than little glow in the dark circles that fit on your sites. I really like them.

Yes, it was a used gun. The paint came off pretty easy.

Adjustable Night Sights. It's a really good price and Top Gun gives excellent service.

I agree, the plain black sights are crap. That gun should have come with adjustable night sights or at least 3-dot sights from the factory.
