For the hell of it, I want to reinstall my V3 components back into my AC date code USP45LEM. I studied the LEM "stickies" and HK field stripping pdfs online and am confident that I can do it. When I checked the parts that HK returned to me years ago when they did the original LEM conversion, I did not see a particular spring. It's the top left picture of page 18 here:

called the hammer rebound spring.

My questions are do all HK hammers have this spring or are they just on the older models? Do you think that HK screwed me and did not send it back with the rest of the parts? If I contacted them, do you think they would send me another spring, gratis?

Thanks.

Hi,

I´d say you got all the parts returned back then. The Trigger rebound spring is only in the older models. I read that it has changed at 1995-96 (KF-KG).

Here is the old hammer with the spring and the roll pin. There is not even a place for the pin on the newer hammers.

This is the Match trigger kit. No springs or pins for the hammer.
