Went to the range today with my V53 (SBR). IGF cut the barrel (1:7 or 1:9) to 8.3" and threaded 15x1. I added a #3 lp to the existing Vector bolt carrier and a 53 ejector to my sear pack. Runs flawlessly and all bullets (62gr) stabilized with clean holes on the target. Bolt gap is fine though the cyclic rate "seems" slow. I'll check with a timer next time. Very easy to control the 3rd groups with my EoTech 552. It does not seem as loud as my short-barreled ARs, nor could I see the flash from my "shooters" position and I'm using the standard HK33/93 FH. What a blast to shoot and so glad I went this route.

That is a beautiful gun sir - congrats on such a nice piece. Was that milspec ammo you were running through it? How far was it throwing the brass?

Mine is just like yours, a V53 cutdown with 53 FH. Your barrel is a Malay 1:9 and mine works fine with all weight bullets. They are good barrels. I have a #15 LP in mine and it's pretty quick. I'd say 750-800rpm.
